
Facebook is taking new steps to limit advertisers' ability to reach teens with targeted ads. with this change Advertisers may not use “interests” or information collected from other services to show ads to the youngest users of Facebook, Instagram and Messenger anymore
This change doesn't prevent advertisers from slotxo reaching teens — they can still use broad demographics such as age, gender, and location — but the update prevents the use of more granular information. This includes information from third-party websites and apps.
Instagram has also made several changes to make it less visible to teens on the platform. By default, the app starts making new accounts private for teens under 16, although teens under 13 can still opt for a publicly
available account if they want. Instagram said that in the early testing “Eight in ten young people accept the default private setting during signup,” suggesting the change could allow more teens to have non-public accounts.
