A spokesman said Sunday that rebels in the war-torn Tigris in Ethiopia are conducting operations against pro-government forces in the neighboring Afar region, opening a new front in the expanding eight-month conflict.
"Very limited action" targeted special forces and militias from the โหลดสล็อตxo Oromia region, Ethiopia's largest, who were concentrating along the Tigray-Afar border, rebel spokesman Getacheu Reda told AFP.
“We took these actions to ensure that these forces are sent back to Oromia, and we managed to do it,” Getacheu said, adding that there were some casualties, but he was unable to provide figures.
“Our actions were very limited to the dispersal of the peasant militia from Oromia, which was basically forced into a useless war.
